On April 8th, we invite you to join us for a magical hike under the skies of an eclipsing sun. We will hike to a secluded spot where we can view this rare event as a community—and share it with fellow nature enthusiasts and skygazers!

What To Expect:

• A guided hike to an exclusive viewing spot near Cincinnati ohio, within the path of totality

• A short, educational session on solar eclipses

• Special eclipse viewing glasses provided for each attendee

• A communal atmosphere of awe-inspiring celestial viewing

• A safe return hike to the parking area after the eclipse

• Live streaming for virtual friends who may not be able to make it to the path

Event Schedule:

1. Gathering and Introduction: We'll start with an informative lesson about the solar eclipse – its science, significance, and how to safely view it.

2. Hiking to Viewing Spot: Post lesson, we'll embark on a guided hike towards the location specifically chosen for the best eclipse viewing experience.

3. Eclipse Viewing: With our special eclipse glasses, we'll watch the eclipse unfold, creating life-long memories.

4. Hike Back: After the eclipse, we'll hike back to our vehicles, carrying the serenity of the celestial spectacle in our hearts.

Pricing:

• $5 (includes a pair of certified safe solar eclipse viewing glasses)

• Virtual Ticket: $5 (Live stream access & eclipse glasses provided via mail)

Additional Information:

• Exact meeting time and trail location will be announced at least 2 weeks prior to the event (I will be pre-hiking a few trails in the coming months to ensure the best choice)

• Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable hiking shoes recommended

• Ensure punctual arrival before the event commencement to avoid any haste

• Bring water and snacks for personal refreshment

• The event is subject to weather conditions, with updates provided as necessary

Can't join us for the hike? No worries! We're offering a "Virtual Ticket" option for friends unable to attend in person – with eclipse glasses mailed to you and access to our event live stream. Enjoy the celestial experience remotely, without missing out on the excitement!
